How to export Active Directory user information to Excel?

First You must download and install Remote Server Administration Tools

To activate it go to Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Turn Windows features on or off:

next, go to Start and start typing Active Directory Module

select Active Directory Module for Windows PowerShell

In new window type:

cd AD:\

next type:

Set-Location “DC=domainname,DC=local”

or shorter:

slĀ “DC=domainname,DC=local”

 

Now You can export sample data to .csv file with command:

Get-ADUser -Filter * -Property * | select DisplayName, EmailAddress, Title | Export-CSV “C:\Scripts\Email_Addresses.csv”-NoTypeInformation -Encoding UTF8
